Role Overview

The Project Manager position is a full-time, office-based role located in Kozhikode. This role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle for synthetic sports surface installations—from initial planning and scheduling to resource management and stakeholder coordination. The individual will ensure timely execution, adherence to budget and quality standards, and compliance with safety regulations. Collaboration with expediting, logistics, and inspection teams to guarantee material and equipment delivery as per project requirements is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for multiple synthetic sports surface projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to streamline project execution and resolve any obstacles affecting timelines or budgets.
• Monitor project progress, quality control, safety compliance, and budget adherence.
• Work closely with expediting and logistics functions to ensure timely delivery and proper handling of materials and equipment.
• Prepare and maintain regular status reports and comprehensive project documentation.
• Support ongoing enhancements to project management methodologies and processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven project management capabilities, especially in construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Experience with expediting procedures, including order tracking and vendor follow-ups.
• Familiarity with inspection activities to assess quality and ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Competency in logistics management involving transportation, warehousing, and on-site material handling.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in project management software (such as Primavera, MS Project) and MS Office; strong skills in documentation and reporting.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills to work effectively in a collaborative on-site environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
• Knowledge of sports infrastructure or synthetic flooring projects is a valuable asset.
