Job Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of initiatives, ensuring delivery against schedule, cost, and quality targets. This role leads the initiatives management process, supports strategic execution, and continuously improves how initiatives are planned and delivered across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align initiative management plans with the wider operations and business strategy, and provide direction to project teams so strategic goals are achieved.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end project and initiative management for existing operations as well as future Goody product expansions.
  • Manage several complex projects at the same time in a structured and timely way.
  • Act as the main specialist for project management and operations collaboration, helping teams build capability and improve processes.
  • Support strong delivery on new product initiatives while balancing quality, cost, and timeline expectations.
  • Set project scope and objectives with stakeholders, then lead planning, resourcing, feasibility analysis, and scheduling.
  • Supervise execution, change control, risk handling, and regular project reviews.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and ensure cross-functional coordination.
  • Lead strategic cross-functional initiatives that support business transformation and growth.
  • Drive new product development projects from supplier selection through quality approval and market release.
  • Coordinate work across formulation or packaging development, sourcing, quality, logistics, and market planning teams.
  • Ensure product launches follow structured phase-in, phase-out, and qualification processes.
  • Set up strong project governance for all initiatives and monitor sourcing, design, and quality deliverables against milestones.
  • Keep initiatives on track for agreed cost, quality, and time outcomes.
  • Track delays and deviations, analyze root causes, and create mitigation plans.
  • Maintain initiative KPIs and reporting to improve visibility and accountability.
  • Update initiative data and dashboards to support informed decision-making.
  • Prepare accurate and timely departmental reports in line with company standards.
  • Ensure work complies with safety, quality, and environmental management policies.
  • Set performance goals for direct reports, provide support, review progress, and give feedback regularly.
  • Take part in identifying and hiring key talent for the function.
  • Assign priorities, delegate tasks, monitor workflow, and give clear direction to the team.
  • Create opportunities for team members to contribute ideas, improve processes, and share knowledge.

Minimum Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in market planning, brand management, or marketing strategy, preferably within the food or FMCG sector.
