Role Overview

The Programme Executive plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of Boardwave’s wide range of programmes and events, which are central to community engagement. This position provides coordination, logistical support, and ensures a professional, energetic approach to all tasks, enhancing member experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of all Boardwave initiatives including Mentoring, Breakout, and other community programmes.
  • Assist in planning and administration such as scheduling sessions, managing communications, onboarding members, and collecting feedback.
  • Maintain participation records and track programme outcomes for insightful reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Programme Manager to plan and execute events across the UK and Europe, handling logistics, venue coordination, travel planning, and event-day assistance.
  • Prepare event materials, briefings, and follow up communications for events and partner activities.
  • Manage the schedule and delivery of sponsored activities ensuring they meet member and partner expectations.
  • Contribute to the preparation of major events, integrating partner-specific elements to a high standard.
  • Promote a welcoming, professional atmosphere at all events that reflects Boardwave’s values.
  • Respond promptly to member and partner inquiries, facilitating strong community relationships through coordination of introductions and follow-ups.

Candidate Profile

  • Highly organized and dependable with an ability to manage multiple deadlines and logistical details.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering positive experiences and aiding others.
  • Proactive self-starter who identifies and completes necessary tasks independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, notably comfortable engaging with senior leaders and community members.
  • Experience of at least one year in events, programme support, administration, or community management, including part-time roles during study, is advantageous.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning, especially in development, mentoring, or related fields.
