Role Purpose and Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain seed processing facilities including preparation, extraction, and weighbridge operations ensuring safety, efficiency, and results orientation.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to housekeeping standards necessary to keep the facility hygienic.
• Perform minor maintenance repairs and project tasks onsite to ensure optimal production facility performance.
• Uphold workplace and safety protocols actively to foster a strong safety culture, including initiatives to reduce environmental impact of workgroup activities.
• Support teamwork by taking personal accountability in fostering cooperation, respect, and mutual trust within the team.
• Contribute to food safety culture by following all related processes, procedures, and management directions.
• Complete administrative reporting such as maintenance documentation and work order recording.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum education of Year 11 high school completion.
• Fluent in English language communication.
• Must hold, or be able to obtain within three months, forklift and elevated work platform operator certification.
• Preferred experience in industrial chemical handling and manufacturing processes.
• Basic proficiency in computer use.
• Holding a recognized metal trade qualification is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently with self-motivation and proactivity.
• Willingness to work rotating day and night shift schedules, including 12-hour continuous shifts as required.
• Commitment to building positive, trust-based team relationships.
• Required to undergo medical, police, and driver’s license verification checks.

• Role is primarily day shift but may require flexible shift pattern including 12-hour shifts.
