Role Overview
We are seeking a Product Manager to oversee the entire product lifecycle at RedditRecs, located on-site in the San Francisco Bay Area. In this role, you will develop and maintain product roadmaps, prioritize feature development, and align cross-functional teams toward defined goals. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research, analyzing user engagement and product data, drafting comprehensive product specifications, and collaborating closely with engineering and design teams to implement high-quality features.
The role requires defining success criteria, managing experiments such as A/B tests, collecting user feedback, and continuously improving the product experience to boost user interaction and drive growth. You will facilitate clear communication with stakeholders, coordinate product releases, and foster a data-informed and intuitive user experience throughout the product's evolution.
Required Qualifications
- Proven expertise in product management including roadmap development, specifying requirements, and prioritizing features.
- Experience in executing user research and leveraging product analytics to guide data-driven decisions.
- Strong collaboration skills with engineering, design, and other cross-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Knowledge of consumer web platforms, recommendation engines, or social media environments is advantageous.
- Comfortable working with experimentation tools and defining meaningful product success metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or an equivalent professional background.
- Ability to work onsite in the San Francisco Bay Area and excel within a dynamic, early-development company setting.
