Location and Language Requirements

• Candidates must reside in Germany or have valid working rights within the country.
• Proficiency in German at B2 level or higher is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and support scalable applications utilizing Python.
• Work collaboratively with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to define, create, and refine new features.
• Translate customer feedback into effective, practical technical solutions.
• Develop APIs and backend services prioritizing reliability and efficiency.
• Produce clean, maintainable code with comprehensive testing.
• Engage in code reviews and promote best engineering practices.
• Influence product direction by contributing technical insights to decisions.
• Enhance system performance, scalability, and developer workflows consistently.

Requirements

• Demonstrated commercial software development experience with Python.
• Practical experience creating production-level web applications and APIs.
• Familiarity with modern Python web frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Competence in working with SQL databases and RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, testing methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
• A product-first perspective that balances technical quality with business impact.
• Fluent professional command of English.
