Role Overview

We seek an experienced Product Designer to enhance user experiences within intricate and regulated product domains. This role involves collaborating across teams to prioritize design in product development and expanding our unified design system.

Key Responsibilities

Advance design efforts from research to implementation, including wireframes, prototypes, and detailed mockups for feature sets in complex regulated sectors such as pricing, chargebacks, and healthcare-like workflows.
Continuously develop and update components in an existing design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across different products.
Create visually compelling and intuitive user interfaces emphasizing interaction design and effectively communicate key performance indicators through clear dashboards and data visualizations tailored to user roles.
Ensure design choices align with product objectives and user expectations, articulating decisions effectively to stakeholders and engineers.
Work closely with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, actively engaging in design workshops and collaborative problem-solving sessions.
Integrate AI-based tools regularly into the design workflow to enhance speed and creativity in exploring concepts.

Required Qualifications

3 to 5 years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio showcasing visual and interaction design as well as strategic product insight, preferably within complex or regulated areas.
In-depth understanding of web standards, responsive design practices, and accessibility requirements.
Strong analytical abilities to interpret dense, regulated content and simplify it for users; attention to visual detail is advantageous but not mandatory.
Experience working within highly complex industries such as fintech, healthtech, or legaltech.
Skill in utilizing and contributing to a pre-existing design system, emphasizing scalable and reusable components.
Proven participation in design workshops and team-oriented problem resolution.
Effective communication skills in English at least at C1 level, capable of justifying design choices and constructively debating with stakeholders and developers.
Experience conducting usability testing and user interviews.
Proficiency in using Figma for design tasks.
Self-driven, eager to innovate and learn continuously.
Regular use of AI technologies in daily design tasks, not limited to sporadic tool usage.
Bonus: Experience in crafting data visualizations and dashboard layouts.
