Role Overview

The Product team is responsible for crafting impactful experiences that simplify complex challenges into scalable, customer-centric solutions by collaborating closely across Design, Engineering, and Data teams. The Platform Product Designer will focus on creating internal platforms and tools to support Revolut's ability to operate efficiently at scale.

Responsibilities include transforming intricate workflows into well-structured, scalable internal systems, especially in areas such as AI tooling, customer support platforms, financial infrastructure, and back-office operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing sophisticated internal platforms and tools that support global operations, compliance, AI processes, and customer support.
• Architecting expansive systems by mapping detailed end-to-end user behaviors, interactions, and handling edge cases across multiple stages.
• Developing scalable UI/UX patterns optimized for speed, usability, and technical limitations in internal applications.
• Converting ambiguous and highly technical requirements into coherent product logic and intuitive user interfaces.
• Collaborating with Product Owners, Engineers, Data Scientists, and Operations Managers to unify product design and logic.
• Analyzing existing internal processes to identify and redesign inefficiencies for enhanced scalability and performance.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least 3 years of proven experience designing high-quality products, preferably internal tools or platform-focused software.
• A strong portfolio showcasing complex product or systems design achievements.
• Exceptional design expertise across web-based platforms.
• The ability to conceptualize product strategies at a high level and confidently communicate design rationale.
• Comprehensive understanding of how design decisions affect backend workflows and technical components.
• Demonstrated ownership over the complete design iteration process.
• A solid focus on user experience, particularly understanding workflows and behaviors of operational users.
• Competence in designing data-intensive interfaces, including managing complex interactive states, tables, and dense workflow scenarios.
• Proficient knowledge of typography and layout grids.

Additional Beneficial Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Programming skills with the ability to build simple coded prototypes.
• Experience in creating and sustaining cross-platform design systems.
• Background working in dynamic startup environments.
• Familiarity with mobile platforms such as Android and iOS.
