Role Summary

The Procurement Manager role is a full-time, on-location position based in Qatar, overseeing the sourcing of coffee beans, food ingredients, packaging, equipment, and other essential supplies. Responsibilities include supplier identification and assessment, negotiation of contracts and prices, management of purchase orders, inventory monitoring, and ensuring punctual delivery across all locations and brands. Close collaboration with operations, culinary, and finance teams is essential to forecast demand, optimize inventory, and avoid supply shortages. The role further encompasses maintaining thorough procurement records, tracking procurement KPIs, and continually refining procurement processes to align with business growth objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven expertise in procurement and supply chain functions such as vendor sourcing, negotiation, and contract oversight.
• Experience with inventory control and purchasing software systems, accompanied by cost analysis and stock optimization capabilities.
• Familiarity with food, beverage, or hospitality industry standards; prior exposure to coffee or food sourcing is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, culinary, and finance.
• Detail-oriented with solid analytical, organizational, and reporting competencies.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet software and procurement or ERP platforms; adept at budgeting and numerical assessments.
• Capacity to work on-site in Qatar and handle relationships with both local and international suppliers.
• Educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement, or related discipline; professional certifications in procurement are preferred.
• Able to perform effectively in a fast-moving business environment, ensuring procurement aligns with company quality standards and customer experience goals.
