PR Intern

Role overview

This internship is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and runs for 6 months. The role sits within the PR team at CHANEL and focuses on supporting day-to-day communications work, press coordination, and the smooth execution of operations across all three divisions. It is well suited to someone who enjoys communications, structure, and the luxury sector, and who is already located in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Track digital, social, and print coverage each day.
• Prepare monthly activity summaries for all three divisions.
• Keep the PR database updated every day so records remain accurate and current.
• Maintain and organize the PR stock room and library for easy access to materials.
• Support event planning tasks such as venue research, RSVP tracking, hair and makeup coordination, and model selection.
• Arrange and share press tools, including press kits and related PR collateral.
• Help manage samples for shoots across all three divisions using Fashion GPS.
• Provide additional support for Watches & Fine Jewelry activities.
• Handle press requests for images, samples, pricing, and other information.
• Assist with the coordination of special CHANEL photo shoots.
• Support press trip planning, including restaurant bookings, destination research, and itinerary updates.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment. Strong people skills, clear communication, and a genuine interest in PR, marketing communications, and luxury are important. The role also requires adaptability, multitasking ability, and strong English proficiency; Arabic and/or French would be an added advantage.

Eligibility and requirements

• Must be currently studying or have recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a similar discipline.
• Should have a strong interest in PR, communications, or marketing within an international organization.
• Needs a solid understanding of the luxury industry.
• Must have excellent written and spoken English.
• Applicants should either be based in Dubai or be willing to move there.
• Must already be based in the UAE.
