Role overview

This opening is for a Pharmacist to work in a medical store environment in Mumbai. The position is with Noble Medichem / Noble Plus Pharmacy & Skin Care, a retail pharmacy and skin care business operating multiple outlets across Mumbai and Pune.

What the role involves

• Assess prescriptions from doctors, confirm they are appropriate and legally valid, and then dispense medicines accordingly.
• Keep the pharmacy arranged in a way that makes products easy and quick to locate.
• Oversee medicine receiving, storage, stock placement, and product labelling while monitoring expiry dates and product condition.
• Speak with customers to understand their concerns and recommend suitable information or guidance.
• Support basic medical services such as injections and measurements like blood pressure and temperature when required.
• Maintain patient records and document activities related to controlled or high-risk medicines.
• Follow all relevant pharmacy laws, drug regulations, and inspection requirements under applicable state and federal authorities.

Skills and qualifications

The ideal applicant should hold a B.Pharm, D.Pharm, or M.Pharm qualification and possess a valid licence to practise pharmacy. The role also calls for at least 3 years of pharmacist experience, strong knowledge of dosage measurement, medicine brands, and chemical compounds, plus working familiarity with pharmacy information systems such as Easy Sol, MediTech, or Mediware and Microsoft Office. Strong organisation, clear communication, a customer-focused manner, integrity, compassion, and awareness of FDA health regulations are important for success in this position.

Work details

This is a full-time role based in Mumbai. The work schedule is 10 hours per day in rotational shifts, across 6 working days per week. Compensation is stated as per industry norms, with a monthly stipend/salary range of INR 21,000 to INR 30,000.
