Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and seasoned Perfumer to join our team in Dubai. This role involves leading strategic client projects and transforming market insights into distinctive fragrance products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and innovate fragrance compositions across fine fragrance and other sectors.
• Manage the entire fragrance development cycle from concept through to final sign-off.
• Create scents tailored to the scent preferences, cultural nuances, and market trends specific to the MEA region.
• Develop fragrances that harmonize creativity with technical viability, safety regulations, and cost targets.
• Research new scent avenues, ingredient technologies, and formulation methods.
• Confidently present scent concepts and directions to clients and internal teams.
• Interpret client needs to deliver customized fragrance solutions.
• Contribute to regional innovation initiatives and portfolio expansion.
• Collaborate with evaluators, perfumers, technical, marketing, and sales teams within the MEA region and international offices.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and technical standards in all fragrance creations.
• Work closely with lab and technical teams to enhance fragrance stability and performance.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, raw material trends, and sustainability practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Perfumery, Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or similar field.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in fragrance creation.
• Demonstrated success in developing commercially viable fragrances.
• Deep knowledge of fragrance raw materials, scent construction, and formulation skills.
• Commercially astute with the ability to develop market-aligned fragrance products.
• Experience with MEA market and consumer scent preferences is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English with additional proficiency in French and/or Arabic being advantageous.

Language Requirements

• Fluent English is essential.
• Arabic proficiency is a significant plus.
• French skills are considered an advantage.
