Role Overview
This role involves carrying out professional payroll accounting duties, including compiling, processing, reconciling, and analyzing payroll data. The position requires expertise in payroll accounting principles, labor and tax regulations, and payroll operations. Key tasks may comprise calculating payroll, processing wages and salaries, reporting payroll taxes, preparing payroll journal entries, reconciling payroll accounts, administering employee deductions and benefits, maintaining payroll records, and assisting with payroll audits and compliance measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine and validate team transactions to ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures.
- Generate accurate financial reports and analytical documents as required.
- Uphold excellent standards of data integrity and operational quality.
- Oversee workflows to guarantee timely and high-quality completion of tasks.
- Prepare required documentation and reports for audits and year-end financial closures.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 2 to 3 years of professional payroll experience.
- Have academic background in finance, economics, accounting, or business administration.
- Demonstrate proficient written and oral communication skills in both English and Lithuanian.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and IF functions.
- Committed to maintaining process continuity and enhancing payroll procedures.
- Exhibit a proactive attitude, robust problem-solving capabilities, and drive for effective outcomes.
- Organized and able to communicate effectively in a fast-moving work environment.
