Overview
Gov Facilities Services Limited (GFSL) is seeking a Payroll Advisor to join their People Team on a permanent full-time basis. This role is remote, requiring a 39-hour work week from Monday to Friday. The position offers a competitive salary aligned with Band 6 at £33,596.37 annually and a hybrid work pattern allowing 2 to 3 days remote weekly.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage accurate and timely monthly payroll processing for GFSL employees.
- Enter and verify payroll transactions ensuring correct payments.
- Assist Payroll Supervisor with audits and data validation.
- Conduct audits related to overtime and absences and report findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with HR and other teams to communicate payroll information.
- Provide expert advice on complex payroll matters and escalate issues appropriately.
- Generate payroll data reports to aid business decisions.
- Maintain HR and payroll records in Oracle Fusion ensuring GDPR compliance.
- Prepare and circulate monthly payslips.
- Manage payroll overpayments, calculate repayment schedules, and coordinate recovery with employees.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience and knowledge in payroll processes and systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Understanding of HR policies affecting payroll operations.
- Familiarity with the entire payroll cycle and relevant legislation.
- Experience using Oracle Fusion payroll system.
Preferred Skills
- Good knowledge of statutory payroll regulations.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities to interpret diverse data sources.
