Parcel Delivery Driver with Driving Duties

Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Parcel Delivery Driver to join our team at the Cambridge Delivery Office. This permanent role involves driving and delivering parcels across designated routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. You will work 37 hours per week across five days, primarily between 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM, including required weekend shifts following a rotation schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare your delivery van and organize your daily workload efficiently.
• Utilize route-planning technology to optimize parcel deliveries.
• Execute multiple deliveries in assigned areas, ensuring parcels reach the correct addresses.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company positively during interactions.

Candidate Profile

• Positive, self-driven individual capable of working independently.
• Well-organized, punctual, and proactive with a strong sense of initiative.
• Committed to offering exceptional customer service and comfortable engaging with customers.
• Available to work afternoon and early evening shifts, including weekends.
• Hold a valid UK manual driving license with no more than six penalty points.

Compensation and Benefits

• Guaranteed hourly wage of £13.06, paid monthly and prorated to your working hours.

Additional Details

Working hours range between 35 and 40 hours per week; roles under 40 hours are classified as part-time in contracts.
