Job Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams by delivering competitive pricing strategies, comprehensive performance analyses, and insightful data reports.
• Conduct costing analyses and devise multiple pricing scenarios to aid customer negotiations.
• Assist in formulating and assessing pricing strategies by examining volume metrics, profit potential, and market dynamics.
• Track customer performance indicators including volume, revenue, and margins to detect discrepancies and areas of improvement.
• Promptly address pricing inquiries and resolve related discrepancies.
• Develop and execute SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze operational data from internal databases.
• Create tailored reports and dashboards using Tableau and other business intelligence tools; communicate findings effectively to leadership.
• Ensure precise and clear report delivery to leadership and senior management.
• Maintain and organize both internal and external databases to support strategic decision-making.
• Generate detailed monthly and quarterly reports analyzing equipment damage and performance for senior executives.
• Investigate thoroughly incidents involving damages to tractors, trailers, and cargo handling equipment.
• Identify damage patterns and root causes, compiling comprehensive reports with photographic evidence and cost evaluations.
• Manage damage claims from initial reporting through full resolution phases.
• Coordinate with insurance providers, repair vendors, and legal teams to handle complex claims efficiently.
• Negotiate settlements and oversee vendor partnerships to ensure cost-effective repair operations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date claims databases and tracking tools.
• Analyze trends to pinpoint high-risk routes, facilities, and operational scenarios.
• Develop and sustain standard operating procedures aimed at cost reduction and enhanced operational efficiency.
• Design and implement driver training programs concentrating on damage prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with safety teams to establish best practices and perform cost-benefit analyses for preventative initiatives.
• Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to cross-functional teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in the transportation, logistics, or insurance sectors is advantageous.
• Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency with claims management systems.
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle operations and equipment varieties.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented mindset paired with effective problem-solving skills.
• Preferred: Experience in trucking, freight, or transport industries, along with professional certifications in risk management or claims analysis.
• Familiarity with Department of Transportation regulations and commercial vehicle safety standards is desirable.
• Background knowledge in fleet management or equipment maintenance adds value.
