Occupational Therapy Coordinator

Role Summary

As the Occupational Therapy Coordinator, you will lead and support the occupational therapy team at Plan A Health, facilitating daily operations, scheduling, training, and team communication. You will be responsible for providing direct, empathetic patient care, addressing the physical, mental, and emotional needs of patients to assist in their recovery journey. Building strong, meaningful relationships with patients and acknowledging their accomplishments is integral to the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in managing therapy team functions.
• Ensure smooth and effective delivery of treatment procedures and therapeutic interventions.
• Provide compassionate, individualized care tailored to each patient's needs.
• Support patients in achieving their rehabilitation objectives.
• Encourage a cooperative and supportive working environment among team members.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess valid state licensure or certification relevant to occupational therapy.
• Hold CPR certification or be willing to obtain it within 30 days of employment.
• Have a bachelor's or master’s degree in occupational therapy or a related field.
• Bring a minimum of three years of experience in occupational therapy or therapeutic leadership roles.
• Carry at least two years of hands-on clinical occupational therapy experience.
• Professional certifications or eligibility for the Therapy Clinical Ladder is an advantage.
