Job description

Overview

Join Dalata Hotel Group as a Night Manager where you will oversee the smooth functioning of hotel operations overnight while delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient and seamless hotel operations during the night shift while maintaining the highest service standards.
  • Address guest inquiries and complaints immediately, providing on-the-spot resolutions.
  • Manage overall health and safety duties including fire patrols, security checks, and first aid responsibilities.
  • Operate front office tasks such as processing night audit reports and managing guest check-ins and check-outs.
  • Lead and coordinate the Night Porter team to complete nightly assignments effectively.
  • Oversee food and beverage services during the night, including bar and room service operations.
  • Drive team performance towards meeting quality standards via mystery audits, guest feedback indices, and compliance with health and safety audits.
  • Ensure meeting rooms are cleaned and prepared as per hotel standard operating procedures for the following day.
  • Mentor and develop night staff to prepare them for future career progression.
  • Contribute strategically to hotel management and operations.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in a comparable night or reception role within hospitality.
  • Strong understanding of hotel business operations and processes.
  • Prior hospitality industry experience is essential.
  • Proficient in computer usage with knowledge of Opera property management system.
  • Experience using Brilliant electronic front office system.
  • Excellent leadership and people development abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to supervise and delegate tasks efficiently.
  • Warm, approachable demeanor with effective interpersonal skills when interacting with staff and guests.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
