Role Responsibilities

• Manage and operate switching equipment predominantly from Cisco and Arista.
• Handle routing tasks using Cisco technologies.
• Oversee firewall management with policy implementations on Fortigate devices.
• Support wireless infrastructure based on Cisco and Mist platforms.
• Manage F5 load balancers effectively.
• Administer SD-WAN environments using Palo Alto technologies.
• Manage SSL VPNs utilizing Ivanti solutions.
• Support advanced networking tasks within AWS cloud services.

Technical Duties

• Plan, configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure across campus, data center, and cloud environments.
• Deploy and resolve issues related to Layer 2 and Layer 3 multilayer switching protocols including VLAN, STP, VTP, HSRP, and MLAG.
• Configure and troubleshoot diverse dynamic routing protocols, focusing on BGP, IPsec VPN, and route management using policy-based routing.
• Coordinate with vendors like ISPs and product suppliers by raising support tickets and managing issue resolution and security enhancements.
• Provide cloud networking support for AWS and Azure, including handling VPC Peering requests, Transit Gateway attachments, and route propagation.
• Remediate network security vulnerabilities across infrastructure by managing configurations and firmware updates.
• Maintain firewall policies across all firewalls aligned with user and security requirements.
• Address wireless network requests and troubleshoot related issues.
• Manage F5 Local Traffic Managers (LTMs) and oversee SSL certificate administration.
• Lead and track Network Operations projects utilizing Jira.
• Support and enhance network automation and system integrations using APIs, Python, and scripting tools.
