Role overview

ITW Construction Products - Asia Pacific is seeking a Merchandiser to help maintain its building solution product ranges across retail stores and support profitable growth in the region. This role is centered on high standards of in-store presentation, accurate call cycle delivery, stock upkeep, and strong customer service.

Key responsibilities

The merchandiser will be expected to keep ITW Building Solution product ranges well maintained in retail environments, support customer service standards, and help deliver commercial growth within the assigned territory. The position also involves improving efficiency in call cycle planning and using allocated in-store time effectively.

• Maintain ITW product ranges to a consistently high standard for retail sales.
• Help achieve and improve customer service levels agreed with clients.
• Ensure stock presentation and stock maintenance are completed accurately.
• Follow call cycle requirements with accuracy and consistency.
• Use in-store time efficiently through streamlined visit planning and execution.
• Build strong working relationships with customers and support satisfaction through professional service.
• Actively follow ITW culture, values, and workplace health and safety expectations.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant is self-driven, comfortable working independently, and able to manage relationships across different levels of an organisation. Merchandising background is preferred but not mandatory.

• Merchandising experience is an advantage, though not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to deal confidently with a range of customers and internal stakeholders.
• Proven relationship-building skills with customers or business partners.
• Capacity to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Good organisational ability and time management.
• Willingness to travel regionally when needed, for up to one week per quarter.
• Access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel.

Territory

The territory covers South Brisbane, Ipswich, and the Gold Coast.
