Sardonyx School in Dhanbad, Jharkhand is seeking a passionate and committed Secondary Mathematics Teacher familiar with the CBSE curriculum. This role involves teaching Mathematics from Class 5 to Class 10, creating lesson plans, and providing a supportive atmosphere for student learning and doubt clearance. The position includes maintaining records, organizing hands-on learning activities, periodic tests, and internal assessments based on an academic planner.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver lesson plans aligned with the CBSE guidelines.
• Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive, engaging learning environment.
• Apply innovative instructional techniques including Flipped Classroom, Experiential Learning, and Student-Centred approaches.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, offering constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with fellow teachers to improve overall educational experiences for learners.
• Perform invigilation duties, evaluation of assessments, and maintain accurate mark sheets.
• Manage homeroom duties and act as a mentor, liaising with parents during parent-teacher meetings.
• Fill in for absent staff and undertake other school-assigned responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience.
• Graduate degree in Mathematics or Physics.
• B.Ed qualification mandatory.
• Age preference between 25 and 40 years.
• Strong command of mathematical concepts and CBSE teaching standards.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with modern educational methodologies such as Flipped Classroom and Active Learning.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary starting around 300,000 INR or higher based on experience and qualifications.
• Monthly salary range typically between 15,000 and 25,000 INR.
