Key Responsibilities
- Develop marketing materials including resumes, biographies, project profiles, photographs, and collateral to support prime and subcontractor proposals.
- Maintain and update information in CRM and FMT databases related to projects, opportunities, resumes, photos, and document templates.
- Track business opportunities through various channels such as IMS, Daily Journal of Commerce, and review Capital Improvement Plans to provide summaries.
- Support research activities, prepare reports, track documents, and assist with internal administrative tasks including editing, compiling, and filing documents.
- Attend internal meetings and take minutes as required.
- Assist senior marketing staff with award submissions and manage orders for promotional and office materials.
- Contribute to corporate marketing efforts including social media updates, website maintenance, and other company-wide marketing requests.
- Coordinate internal events such as quarterly meetings, conferences, client drives, and more.
- Facilitate communication and interaction among staff, clients, and vendors.
- Provide general office support including greeting guests, managing multi-line phone systems, ordering supplies, organizing catering, shipping, and arranging rentals.
- Run errands regularly as needed.
- Assist project managers in preparing project progress updates.
- Adhere to company Quality Assurance policies as well as Health & Safety and Loss Prevention procedures.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by supervisors.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or a closely related discipline.
- 0 to 4 years experience in marketing, ideally within architectural, engineering, or construction service firms.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent writing, proofreading, editing skills, and experience producing various documents.
- Creativity, keen attention to detail, and a good design sense.
- Effective and diplomatic communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment prioritizing timely marketing deliverables.
- Basic understanding of marketing concepts and business development strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and CRM software is a plus.
- Professional, personable, and flexible attitude capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to sit, stand, and walk as required.
