Manufacturing Engineer

About the Role

United Metal Inc is expanding its engineering team and seeks a dynamic Manufacturing Engineer. This role entails contributions in new product and tooling development, advancing manufacturing capabilities, providing technical assistance to production teams, and ensuring safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Build prototypes to support beta tests, client demos, and validate manufacturing processes.
• Conduct engineering calculations to underpin design decisions.
• Design and create tooling and fixtures essential for production operations.
• Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary engineering teams to devise innovative solutions.
• Provide technical support to production departments as needed.
• Develop and implement advancements in manufacturing processes and capabilities.

• Between 2 to 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Robust understanding of engineering principles.
• Experience in designing and applying fixtures and tooling.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical systems and product issues.
• Familiarity with design tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Background or experience in the HVAC industry is advantageous.
