Sun Pharma is hiring a Senior Manager/Manager for the Procurement function, specifically within DF Sourcing, at its Mumbai location (Acme Plaza, Mumbai). Core responsibilities

• Support RFC validation and planning activities, ensuring system inputs are accurate and usable for integrated planning.
• Check RFCs for proper system integration and investigate any data transfer problems that affect planning reliability.
• Convert RFCs into plans for LL domestic and export operations, while aligning demand, supply, and capacity.
• Handle LL commitment updates through Excel and SAP uploads, and maintain the DCS tracker for M0 plus 3 months.
• Prepare MIS reports for LL domestic and export requirements.
• Run MRP cycles with complete, validated data and review outputs such as planned orders, PRs, and exception messages.
• Maintain accurate consumption postings so demand planning remains dependable.
• Work on RM and PM shortages in Excel and raise fresh PRs for TWN, Zeon, and other LLs.
• Release PRs in APO, create service POs, and enter GRNs.
• Validate PR-to-PO movement and delivery timelines, while coordinating procurement teams to secure supply commitments.
• Track material delivery follow-ups against lead time and commitment dates.
• Update RM and PM delivery status for LLs in Excel and ensure demand, commitment, and supply remain aligned with service requirements.
• Monitor LE versus actual status and address issues in material supply to LL units, including vendor rejections.
• Track physical dispatches against tax invoices and verify inventory accuracy through reconciliations.
• Ensure GRNs are received on time, reconciled correctly, and reflected in MIS reporting.
• Review physical stock audit reports and make required system entries.
• Support timely process order closure, batch-size adherence, logistics execution, and corresponding system updates.
• Submit LE to the DP team and keep the DCS tracker updated.
• Analyze inventory to take action on slow-moving, non-moving, obsolete, near-expiry, and rejected stock.
• Lead Kinaxis implementation and stabilization across multiple plants and SKUs.
• Ensure Kinaxis works smoothly with SAP HANA and that planning governance and process discipline are followed.
• Monitor system performance and maintain high-quality master data, including BOMs, routings, lead times, batch sizes, and MRP views.
• Keep Kinaxis and SAP HANA data aligned and drive ongoing improvements in data quality and hygiene.
• Update PO, PR, STO, planned orders, inventory, and QM data on time, identify mismatches, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• Strong background in procurement, planning, and supply coordination.
• Hands-on experience with MRP execution, inventory control, and order management processes.
• Exposure to Kinaxis implementation, governance, and stabilization, along with SAP HANA integration.
• Ability to maintain master data accuracy and manage transactional data quality across systems.
• Working knowledge of PR, PO, GRN, STO, and related supply-chain transactions.
• Capability to analyze shortages, stock issues, vendor rejections, and delivery variances.
• Experience in preparing MIS and tracker-based updates, including Excel-driven reporting.
• Educational background of MSc, MBA, B.Tech, or B.Pharm with MBA in supply chain.
• Overall experience of 9 to 10 years.
