Job description
Job Overview
The Maintenance Technician will undertake various maintenance tasks including breakdown repairs, preventive maintenance, predictive upkeep, and corrective actions on tool room machinery and related equipment. This role ensures smooth and continuous production by minimizing downtime through effective machine maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems within the tool room machinery.
- Maintain tooling equipment to optimal working conditions to support production schedules.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing machine reliability and operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or ITI certification in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
- Relevant work experience ranging from 3 to 8 years in maintenance.
Location
This position is based at Aptiv, Connection Systems India, Arakkunnam, Cochin.
