Overview

Join Trawick Construction Company, LLC as a Locator where your primary role will be to identify and mark underground utilities using flags and paint, contributing to the safety and efficiency of various projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize detection equipment to locate and mark underground utilities, seeking guidance from experienced personnel as needed.
• Interpret utility maps accurately to locate underground utilities.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all utility locates.
• Promptly and courteously respond to excavation notifications.
• Communicate effectively with excavators, utility representatives, and colleagues.
• Perform minor excavation with a shovel where necessary.
• Be available for overtime, travel, and on-call or after-hours duties as required.
• Perform work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorization to work legally in the United States for this employer.
• Possess a High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Hold a valid State driver's license (not provisional) with an acceptable driving record.
• Capable of physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 55 pounds, working alone in remote locations, and using hands for fine motions.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Frequently required to work alone in remote areas, operate vehicles, maintain arms above shoulder level, bend, stoop, stand, walk, and use keyboard and mouse.
• Occasional use of portable ladders, climbing stairs, and working in confined spaces.
