Position Summary

We are looking for a meticulous and well-organized Loan Processor who has experience with Business Purpose Loans including Residential Transitional Loans (RTL), Bridge loans, Renovation, Ground-Up Construction projects, and DSCR (non-consumer) loan products. The role is essential in ensuring loans move efficiently from application to closing by maintaining accuracy, compliance, and delivering a smooth customer experience. Ideal candidates possess strong communication abilities, a problem-solving attitude, and prior exposure to private or non-QM loan processing.

Key Responsibilities

Process Residential Transitional Loans, Bridge, Renovation, Ground-Up Construction, and DSCR loans following company protocols and investor guidelines.
Examine and validate documentation from borrowers, guarantors, and entities including credit files, income statements, bank statements, titles, insurance policies, leases, and corporate documents.
Ensure receipt and completeness of all necessary documents and compliance before underwriting and closing stages.
Collaborate intensively with underwriters, loan originators, and closing teams to maintain accuracy of loan files and accelerate turnaround times.
Efficiently track and resolve loan conditions while communicating proactively with internal departments and external stakeholders.
Review appraisals, Broker Price Opinions (BPOs), construction budgets, and rehabilitation scopes for thoroughness and correctness.
Maintain precise file organization ensuring all documents are clearly labeled and stored in the loan origination system.
Deliver outstanding service to borrowers and brokers through transparent and timely communication.
Detect and escalate problems or discrepancies that could impact loan eligibility or schedules.

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum of two years' experience processing private or non-QM loans is required.
Practical expertise working with Residential Transitional Loans (Bridge, Renovation, Ground-Up Construction) and DSCR loan products.
Experience preparing HUD-1 forms and settlement statements.
Familiarity with business entity documentation.
Strong comprehension of documentation requirements and compliance parameters for business-purpose loans.
High attention to detail with the capacity to manage multiple loan files concurrently.
Effective verbal and written communication skills with problem-solving capabilities.
Proficiency with loan origination software; experience with LendingWise is advantageous.
