About the Role

Our client, a global leader in English Language Teaching, is hiring a Learning Design Manager dedicated to creating impactful learning experiences and assessments that empower learners worldwide. This role involves leading the development, quality assurance, and ongoing enhancement of assessment products across varied education sectors including Schools, Higher Education, and Workforce learning.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for designing engaging, reliable, and standards-aligned curricula and assessment tools. Ensuring pedagogical soundness and compliance with international standards, your work will deliver measurable benefits to learners and educators. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, leveraging data analytics for content optimization, and advocating innovative assessment strategies are core components of this position.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Broad experience in English language learning content and assessment design
• Proven ability in managing digital and online learning products
• Competency in data analysis and use of analytics tools to improve educational outcomes
• Expertise in conducting pre-testing, piloting, and validation of products
• Strong teamwork skills with multidisciplinary and external partners
• Knowledge of compliance standards including Ofqual, safeguarding, and accessibility guidelines
• Excellent English communication skills for clear documentation and briefings

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree or certification in English Language Teaching, Assessment, Applied Linguistics, or related fields such as Master’s, PhD, DELTA, or Dip TESOL
• Proven management experience with global education products over several years
