Laundry Valet

Role overview

This position is part of the housekeeping and laundry team at a luxury hotel in Lusail, Qatar. The role focuses on guest interaction, careful handling of laundry and dry-cleaning items, and timely delivery service.

Core duties

• Welcome guests when they arrive and help unload their belongings safely.
• Deliver laundered garments and other clothing items to guest rooms.
• Respond quickly to guest requests as well as requests coming from the front desk or the service desk.
• Keep laundry and dry-cleaning areas tidy and presentable.
• Ensure valet tickets are completed accurately so each item is handled correctly.
• Arrange repairs with the appropriate team members and coordinate collection and return once completed.

• Be able to reach, bend, twist, pull, stoop, and handle objects as required by the job.
• Lift, move, or carry items weighing up to 10 pounds.
• Stand, sit, or walk for long periods when needed.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by supervisors.

Schedule and employment details

This is a full-time, non-management role. The position is based onsite in Lusail, Qatar, and it is not remote. A flexible work schedule is required.

Preferred qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. At least one year of related work experience is expected. No supervisory background is needed, and no license or certification is required.
