Role Overview
As a LACE Junior Coach, you will be instrumental in addressing practical challenges by applying your expertise in Agile methodologies to produce meaningful outcomes. Your duties will span engineering, planning, and customer assistance, all directed at fostering purposeful work, ongoing learning, and promoting sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate adherence to Agile methodologies by supporting teams in following the Agile Playbook and Ways of Working guidance.
- Partner with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team members to reinforce foundational Agile principles and offer hands-on coaching aligned with the LACE coaching model, aiding teams through their maturity phases.
- Assist teams in utilizing Jira and Jira Align efficiently, ensuring work is appropriately structured across Epics, Features, and Stories and maintaining best practices and data integrity within tooling.
- Support Agile ceremonies such as planning sessions, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives, providing constructive feedback to enhance their effectiveness.
- Collaborate with LACE to identify challenges and gaps in team processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts including tracking maturity metrics and developing training materials and playbooks.
- Commit fully to safety protocols with a zero-harm mindset, advocating for and maintaining a world-class safety culture.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Basic knowledge of Agile principles with practical experience aiding Agile teams, preferably in an Agile Transformation environment.
- Proficiency with Atlassian tools, particularly Jira; experience with Jira Align is advantageous.
- Excellent facilitation and communication capabilities coupled with a mindset oriented toward continuous improvement.
- A bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Relevant Agile certifications, with preference for SAFe credentials.
