Role Overview

As a Keyholder, you play a vital role in delivering exceptional store execution, enabling meaningful customer interactions. Your responsibility involves endorsing the finest products and services that promote the health and happiness of pets, supporting store profitability and future growth. You will engage in daily operations, represent the store locally, and embody our core values of Safety, Compassion, Expertise, and Efficiency.

Primary Duties

• Operate as cashier and assist customers with purchases.
• Manage merchandising tasks including order preparation, banking, and administrative paperwork.
• Stock lightweight merchandise (under 10 lbs) in the sales area.
• Maintain store cleanliness through sweeping, dusting, and general upkeep.
• Help with unloading incoming deliveries of pet food and supplies (handling items up to 50 lbs) and organizing stock.
• Perform opening and closing procedures adhering to company policies.
• Assign daily objectives and monitor tasks for store employees when management is absent.
• Complete additional responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years experience in retail or customer service roles.
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Friendly, outgoing demeanor with strong customer service orientation.
• Physical capability to repeatedly lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Dependable transportation to and from work location.
• May need a valid driver’s license.
