About Tech Pipeline and the Role

Tech Pipeline addresses operational inefficiencies that arise when companies outgrow their internal tools, collaborating closely with operations teams to identify data gaps and manual workarounds that hinder business processes. Currently, we are working with a logistics company based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, helping them incorporate advanced language models into their documentation and routing systems.

As a Junior Prompt Engineer, your key responsibility will be to bridge the gap between AI capabilities and the precise needs of logistics operations. Unlike strategic roles, this position focuses on hands-on technical problem-solving by crafting and refining instructions (prompts) that enable AI language models to correctly interpret documents such as shipping manifests, customs forms, and routing notes.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and test detailed text instructions that guide AI language models to accurately process various logistics documents.
• Verify AI outputs against original data sources to ensure correctness.
• Analyze system logs to detect misinterpretations by AI systems.
• Document routing procedures and exceptions discovered during prompt testing.
• Work collaboratively with tech teams to revise system instructions based on user feedback.
• Support data reconciliation when AI results diverge from expected outcomes.
• Maintain a repository of proven prompt templates for client use post-engagement.
• Prepare regular written reports detailing the effectiveness of different prompt versions across document categories.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Clear and logical writing skills with attention to technical accuracy.

• Basic understanding of generative AI tool behavior and response patterns.
• Keen eye for detail to identify inconsistencies in extensive text and datasets.
