Junior Maintenance Engineer (Multi-skilled / Field)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Junior Maintenance Engineer with multi-skilled expertise to join a globally recognized machinery manufacturer. This role involves fieldwork across a regional territory around Bristol with a variety of automation and manufacturing machinery maintenance. The company is well established within the UK, backed by a multi-billion-pound multinational, serving diverse sectors such as food and beverage, ecommerce, and automotive. The role offers extensive training opportunities, including specialist machine and software instruction both domestically and internationally, alongside career progression and financial incentives.

Key Duties

• Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM), breakdown repairs, and servicing on packaging and manufacturing machinery.
• Travel across a regional patch primarily within a few hours' distance, including regular overnight stays averaging about 40 per year.
• Participate in an on-call telephone rota to support equipment issues, earning additional bonuses.
• Use a company-provided van for both work duties and private use.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses a Maintenance Qualification or relevant practical experience.
• Experienced in multiple maintenance skills and comfortable working in a field-based role.
• Prepared for regular travel and overnight stays as part of the job requirements.

Additional Information and Benefits

• Salary starts at £35,000 with on-target earnings (OTE) ranging from £40,000 to £45,000.
