The Marketing team is responsible for driving growth by connecting people with programs that support healthier living. Within that group, the performance creative function plays a central role by transforming ideas into direct-response advertising that turns interest into action.
Role Overview
Noom is seeking a Performance Creative Strategist to support its Growth Marketing team. The role focuses on developing strong-performing creative for paid acquisition channels by creating creative briefs, drafting UGC scripts, and contributing throughout the full creative process from insight gathering to production and launch.
This position suits someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, naturally curious, and comfortable taking ownership while working closely with cross-functional partners. You will collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Legal teams to turn technical product information and regulatory needs into advertising that is clear, persuasive, and easy to understand. The role blends creative thinking with commercial goals to help campaigns grow while staying aligned with brand and compliance standards.
You will have the chance to independently lead smaller projects while also supporting larger strategic efforts, reporting to the Senior Creative Strategist and contributing to the expansion of Noom’s creative performance capability.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily creative direction for Noom’s evergreen paid campaigns across Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, and other channels, covering the process from concepting and briefing through final approval.
- Prepare clear and actionable creative briefs that convert business objectives into guidance for designers and outside partners.
- Review account trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to inform creative direction.
- Work closely with designers, media buyers, and agencies to move concepts from idea stage into final production.
- Test new concepts continuously and refine creative based on performance results.
- Keep the content pipeline strong so that the right assets are always ready and active in market.
- Coordinate schedules and organize workstreams to ensure production stays on track.
- Use AI tools in the workflow to improve understanding and speed up execution.
Requirements
- At least 2–3+ years of experience in creative strategy, performance creative, or a related area such as media buying, art direction, or DTC copywriting.
- Practical experience briefing or producing direct-response advertising, user-generated content, or testimonial-style creative.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to write effective creative briefs.
- Experience collaborating with designers and/or external creative partners.
- Prior experience at a DTC, digital-first, or high-growth startup brand is preferred.
- Comfort with ambiguity, rapid testing, and a fast-paced, high-volume creative environment.

Additional Information
The base salary range for this position is $59,130 to $77,300 per year. Final compensation depends on job-related factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
This role is available for Noom’s NYC or Princeton office locations and follows a hybrid schedule with 2 days per week on-site.
