Java Agentic AI/GenAI Professionals

Role Overview

Capgemini is hiring experienced Java professionals who also bring practical exposure to Agentic AI and GenAI. This position is based across Bangalore, Pune, and Mumbai, with a hybrid work setup.

Technology Stack

The role calls for strong hands-on work in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, GitHub Copilot, MCP, and GenAI/Agentic AI, along with team leadership experience.

What You Will Do

• Build and maintain software solutions using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and web services.
• Work with legacy Java applications such as Struts and JSP, as well as RDBMS platforms and modern UI frameworks like Angular or React.
• Improve application performance and support issue analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause diagnosis for production problems.
• Apply GitHub Copilot effectively while understanding both its strengths and limitations.
• Lead development teams and help drive technical initiatives across the delivery lifecycle.
• Use prompt engineering techniques in software development and work with agentic AI concepts and workflows.
• Understand MCP and how it can be used in relevant tools and business use cases.
• Follow SDLC practices and contribute across all major phases of software delivery.

Experience Needed

Candidates should have 8 to 15 years of total experience, with roughly 10 to 12 years of practical software engineering experience in Java.

Eligibility

Applicants should have a B.Tech/B.E. in any specialization or be any graduate.
