Inventory Specialist

Role Overview

The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and managing inventory levels across multiple warehouses and farming sites, ensuring stock accuracy, availability, and efficient turnover. This role demands thorough coordination with various departments and suppliers to maintain optimal inventory status while adhering to company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and regulate stock quantities at warehouses and farm locations consistently.
• Execute inventory planning including replenishment and demand forecasting activities.
• Maintain precise documentation of all inventory transactions in the ERP platform.
• Carry out regular cycle counts and comprehensive physical stock verifications.
• Analyze and resolve any discrepancies found in inventory records by implementing appropriate corrective measures.
• Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, production, and logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted material supply.
• Supervise management of slow-moving, obsolete, and expired items to minimize carrying costs.
• Generate detailed inventory reports, stock aging analysis, and performance indicator dashboards.
• Balance inventory levels effectively to prevent stockouts and reduce excess.
• Enforce compliance with company inventory controls and procedures.
• Assist with inventory reconciliation and audits during month-end and year-end closing periods.
• Liaise with suppliers to guarantee material deliveries align with operational schedules.
