Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Clerk to support our growth by managing day-to-day inventory operations under the financial controller's supervision. This role involves meticulous tracking and organization of stock, assisting with procurement-related tasks, and ensuring seamless workflow in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Confirm received items' quantity and quality against packing lists, reporting any inconsistencies to relevant departments or procurement officers.
- Coordinate the organization and safe storage of all incoming goods.
- Manage internal stock requests, ensuring prompt distribution to requesting parties.
- Maintain precise stock records by performing regular forecasting based on demand and usage patterns.
- Collaborate with procurement to keep stock levels above alert thresholds to avoid shortages.
- Conduct and supervise routine inventory counts, investigating and reporting any discrepancies discovered.
- Enhance inventory management processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor order statuses and delivery timelines with suppliers, ensuring alignment with internal teams.
- Provide administrative assistance throughout procurement processes, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Support the Finance team in maintaining the integrity of inventory databases.
- Handle various ad-hoc assignments within the procurement team as required.
Requirements
- Between 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in inventory management, finance, accounting, or administrative roles.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Administration, Business, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or Logistics.
- Basic knowledge of procure-to-pay workflows.

Additional Information
- This is a permanent, full-time role based in Bamako, Mali, with some field travel expected.
