Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Interior Designer to lead projects from initial client interactions through all phases of design development, revisions, and coordination during execution.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to thoroughly understand their requirements, lifestyle preferences, budget constraints, and practical needs.
• Conduct detailed client meetings and site evaluations.
• Transform client briefs into actionable and visually engaging design solutions.
• Design mood boards, select material palettes, and develop initial design concepts.
• Create comprehensive interior design plans encompassing residential and commercial projects.
• Plan spatial layouts and furniture arrangements effectively.
• Design various interior areas including kitchens, wardrobes, bedrooms, living rooms, and office spaces.
• Develop harmonious color schemes, select materials, lighting ideas, and appropriate furniture.
• Generate precise 2D drawings alongside immersive 3D visual representations.
• Present and explain design ideas to clients, incorporating their input throughout multiple revision cycles.
• Ensure all client revisions are consistently applied across all design documentation and visualizations.
• Maintain uniformity and coherence in design elements throughout the project delivery.
• Produce detailed working drawings required for on-site execution including furniture layouts, ceiling plans, electrical diagrams, and elevations with correct specifications and measurements.
• Liaise effectively with vendors, contractors, and site personnel as necessary.

Candidate Profile

• Comprehensive understanding of interior design principles.
• Strong skills in spatial planning and creative design.
• In-depth knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and hardware relevant to interiors.
• Ability to devise practical yet visually appealing design solutions.
• Expertise particularly in residential interior projects.
• Capability to process client feedback constructively and adapt designs accordingly.
• Excellent communication and presentation aptitude.
• Detail-oriented approach coupled with multitasking ability.
• Independent working style with a sense of ownership over projects.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D and 3D drafting.
• Experience using SketchUp for 3D modeling and visualization.
• Familiarity with rendering software such as 3ds Max, V-Ray, Enscape, or Lumion.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop for image editing.
• Comfortable using Canva for design presentations.
• Competent with MS Office and Google Workspace tools.
