Inspector - Multi Discipline

Job Overview and Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced Multi Discipline Inspector specializing in mechanical welding inspections, particularly within the oil and gas sector. The candidate must have strong certifications and extensive expertise adhering to international standards, including ASME, API, and ISO. Previous experience working in Gulf countries, especially Qatar, will be advantageous though not mandatory.

Required Qualifications

• CSWIP 3.2.2 Certification is mandatory.
• Certification in API or BGAS is required.
• Qualified ISO 9712, ASNT, PCN, or equivalent NDT Level II certifications in Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT).
• Minimum of twelve years of practical experience conducting mechanical welding inspections within oil and gas environments.
• Thorough knowledge and application skills relating to ASME, API, and ISO standards.
• Proficient ability to interpret and analyze blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong communication capabilities and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Gulf experience preferred, with Qatar work experience desirable but not essential.

Educational Background and Additional Certifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Valid CSWIP 3.2 or AWS Senior Welding Inspector certification.
• Valid BGAS Grade 2 or NACE Level 2 Coating Inspector or an equivalent qualification.
• ASNT NDT Level 2 certification.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
• API certifications including API 510, API 570, or API 653.
