Industrial Facilities Cleaner

Role Overview and Schedule

This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour. A background check and drug testing are compulsory prerequisites prior to employment.

Primary Duties

• Carry out janitorial tasks ranging from light to heavy cleaning within a manufacturing facility.
• Conduct periodic inspections of the plant to identify hazards, maintenance needs, and opportunities for improvement, reporting findings to the Plant Manager.
• Provide support by substituting for roles such as Mill Operator, Packaging Operator, and Baler Operator when required.
• Assist with preventive maintenance responsibilities as necessary.
• Undertake additional assigned tasks as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience operating a skid steer is essential.
• Preferably one to two years of industrial production line experience.
• Strong coordination skills involving vision, hands, and feet.
• Capability to maintain focus over long durations while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for at least seven hours per workday.
• Comfortable with climbing ladders and working at elevated heights.
• Mechanical skills including aptitude and troubleshooting abilities are required.
• Basic arithmetic skills for simple calculations.
