About the Role and Team
Uber Health, a rapidly expanding division of Uber for Business, is dedicated to becoming the premier global platform facilitating health-related transportation. In the United States, approximately six million individuals annually miss or postpone healthcare appointments due to transportation challenges. By overcoming these logistical obstacles and addressing social determinants that affect health, Uber Health aims to enhance healthcare efficiency, reduce downstream expenses by improving appointment adherence, and promote healthier patient outcomes. This is achieved by leveraging Uber's assets to deliver HIPAA-compliant, on-demand transportation solutions tailored for healthcare entities and patients at scale.
The Implementation Manager is entrusted with overseeing the entire client onboarding process and plays a critical role in boosting revenue and product effectiveness. Success in this role depends on strong discovery capabilities, exceptional executive communication, and the ability to engage diverse stakeholder groups within the client organizations to encourage active and sustained use of Uber Health and Uber for Business offerings. The role involves managing significant, high-value accounts post-sale to ensure optimal adoption and performance of Uber's healthcare product suite.
Reporting to the Head of Implementation for Uber Health, the primary responsibility is to design and simplify hands-on launches of Uber Health and Uber for Business products for large healthcare providers across the US. The job combines consultative solution development and project management to foster adoption of client-specific product features, including API integrations. Implementation Managers coordinate alignment across both internal and client functional teams and develop a comprehensive understanding of operational drivers behind key performance indicators. Knowledge of the healthcare industry and client business models is essential to streamline operations and minimize the time between sale and efficient execution.
Note: Travel up to 35% may be required for on-site relationship-building and launch management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough discovery sessions with partners to understand their operational workflows and tailor the Uber Health and Uber for Business product suite accordingly.
- Oversee technical setup and activation of client accounts, collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance customer experience and impact.
- Create and provide detailed program resources such as training presentations, coordinator briefs, and client communications to ensure readiness and accelerate launch timelines.
- Continuously track post-launch adoption and usage metrics against forecasts, escalating any barriers to adoption to relevant stakeholders to help meet revenue goals.
- Analyze both qualitative and quantitative data including customer feedback, user stories, and trends to identify opportunities for enhancing client and product impact.
- Advocate for the customer by communicating insights and suggestions to Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Support teams to improve the Uber Health product experience.
- Drive operational excellence through iterative improvements to playbooks, internal tools, and cross-functional processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least six years of relevant experience in B2B healthcare or technology sectors within the US.
- Proven capability to manage complex B2B implementations involving cross-team coordination with finance, IT, operations, product, sales, and support.
- Experience in project management, program management, or learning and development roles.
- Strong data literacy.

Compensation and Benefits
For Washington, DC-based employees, the salary range is USD 119,000 to USD 132,000 annually. Employees across all US locations may also participate in Uber's bonus program and might be eligible for equity awards and other compensation types. Full-time employees have access to a 401(k) plan and a variety of benefits.
Additional Information
The role may require up to 35% travel for onsite activities. Employees are expected to spend at least half their working hours onsite unless approved for full remote work.
