Job Overview
We are looking for a proficient IBM Datacap Developer with advanced .NET capabilities to develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-level document capture and intelligent document processing systems. Candidates should bring practical experience in IBM Datacap, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and workflow automation, ideally gained in banking or similar enterprise sectors.
Key Duties
- Create, enhance, and support document capture and processing solutions utilizing IBM Datacap technologies.
- Configure Datacap applications including workflows, rules, task profiles, and recognition engines to meet business requirements.
- Build custom components and implement integrations using C# and the .NET Framework.
- Connect IBM Datacap platforms with enterprise applications, ECM systems, web services, and databases seamlessly.
- Develop and manage RESTful and SOAP APIs related to document workflow processing.
- Optimize OCR performance and manage document classification, data extraction, validation, and indexing processes.
- Diagnose and resolve production-level issues while improving application efficiency.
- Create SQL scripts, stored procedures, and related database entities to support document processing tasks.
- Engage in systematic code reviews, thorough testing, deployment processes, and ongoing production support.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation and follow established software development lifecycle and coding standards.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, solution architects, quality assurance, and infrastructure teams to deliver robust enterprise solutions.
