Role Overview
The Human Resources Consultant position is a full-time, on-site role based in Morogoro Municipal. This role involves delivering specialized HR consultancy, crafting and enforcing HR policies, and assisting management to align HR functions with the organization’s strategic aims. Key duties consist of offering guidance on employee relations challenges, facilitating recruitment and selection processes, organizing performance management systems, and ensuring adherence to labor laws and regulations. The consultant will also undertake HR audits, suggest enhancements to HR procedures, conduct training and capacity-building sessions, and generate comprehensive HR documentation and reports. Collaboration with leadership and employees is essential to foster a workplace culture characterized by fairness, inclusion, and legal compliance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive experience in Human Resources and HR Management, with demonstrated capability in developing and executing robust HR frameworks and protocols.
- Proficient in formulating, interpreting, and implementing HR policies that align with organizational goals and comply with relevant legislation.
- Strong competency in managing employee relations, including conflict resolution, grievance processes, and cultivating a positive, inclusive workplace environment.
- Thorough understanding of Labor and Employment laws with the ability to provide sound legal HR advice and ensure regulatory compliance.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Law, or related disciplines; additional advanced qualifications or HR professional certifications are favorable.
- Excellent communication, advisory capabilities, and report drafting skills, combined with an ability to work effectively with diverse groups of stakeholders.
- Experience within public sector organizations or regulatory authorities is advantageous.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving aptitude, organizational skills, coupled with high ethical standards, confidentiality, and integrity.
