About the Role
The HSE Analyst will be based in Dammam and plays a crucial role in enhancing workplace safety, environmental performance, and ensuring regulatory compliance by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting relevant data. This position requires a strong background in HSE regulations and data analysis to provide actionable insights that bolster management decisions and foster a culture prioritizing safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data related to health, safety, and environmental matters to advance workplace safety and environmental standards.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and incident investigations while preparing detailed compliance reports.
- Design and implement training programs and collaborate with various teams to deploy safety initiatives aimed at hazard reduction.
- Provide support in planning, executing, and monitoring environmental, health, and safety policies to ensure full compliance.
- Monitor EHS metrics, including quarterly key performance indicators (KPIs) and PPE acknowledgment submissions.
- Perform formal, systematic reviews of campus operations to guarantee adherence to applicable regulations.
- Ensure accuracy and audit safety-related statistics and maintain safety, health, and environmental audit documentation.
- Coordinate with departments to implement and sustain injury prevention programs for employees and trainees.
- Offer hazard analysis, customized programs, training, and support for EHS activities within the organization including creative services and scripted TV production.
- Maintain an up-to-date EHS accident and incident database.
- Assist the site in meeting EHS targets and objectives.
- Manage submissions related to all HSE contracts and organize HSE campaign activities.
- Oversee control and management of HSE records and files.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a relevant bachelor's degree in fields such as engineering, industrial safety, health, or environmental science.
- Certificates related to HSE disciplines are required.
- Professional experience ranging from 3 to 5 years in comparable HSE roles.
Skills Required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong communication skills in English—speaking, writing, and reading fluently.
- Familiarity with OSHA and NEBOSH standards.
- Knowledgeable of local safety regulations and EHS policies, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Understanding of environmental issues, health standards, and fire system operations.
