Responsibilities

• Performing maintenance and repair tasks on small to medium residential and commercial projects.
• Advising customers on necessary work and setting clear expectations about project scope and costs.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction through consistent delivery of quality service following the Mr. Handyman Way process to foster repeat business.
• Operating independently with self-management as you will frequently work alone.
• Engaging with customers professionally to solicit feedback, gather payments, and uphold excellent service standards.
• Utilizing the provided technology and tools efficiently to document work performed.
• Wearing proper personal protective equipment and using booties to maintain clients' property cleanliness.

Requirements

• Residency within the local area of Anderson, SC.
• Minimum of eight years' paid experience as a handyman or carpenter.
• Ownership of personal tools necessary to perform duties.
• Insurance eligibility to drive company-assigned vehicles.
• Successful completion of background and driving record checks.
• Ability to independently lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks including overhead work and working at heights.
• Maintaining a professional image and upkeep of the company vehicle.
• Proficient in at least three of these areas: carpentry, bathroom/kitchen improvements, interior and exterior painting, drywall repairs, general plumbing or electrical work (where legally permitted), flooring installation/refurbishing, and compliance with building codes.
