About the Role
A public sector client based in Edinburgh seeks a Resourcing Graphic Designer on an initial 3-month contract. This hybrid position requires presence at the Edinburgh office two days per week. Compensation ranges between £250 and £300 per day, inside IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create compelling and effective graphic content for diverse channels including print, social media, and digital platforms.
- Oversee multiple projects concurrently, managing all creative production phases from concept to final artwork, quality assurance, and distribution.
- Manage resourcing social media accounts by planning, designing, scheduling, and monitoring posts on X and Facebook.
- Collaborate with Campaign Leads and Resourcing teams to develop clear design and content briefs supporting recruitment initiatives.
- Offer expert guidance on graphic design strategies and recruitment channel content creation.
- Work closely with Communications Division’s brand leaders to ensure all outputs comply with brand guidelines, design principles, and accessibility standards to deliver high-quality content.
- Take the lead on creative projects involving researching new creative methods and tools, coordinating photo-shoots, and sourcing creative services.
- Organize and archive design assets to maximize reusability in future projects.
Required Skills and Expertise
- Demonstrable experience in graphic design and content production with a proven ability to deliver designs aligned with user needs and organizational goals.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud tools including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and After Effects.
- Skilled in designing for digital applications such as social media and websites, with a thorough understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Professional judgement to recommend suitable graphic formats and outputs and aptitude to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.
