Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our internal creative team. This influential role involves producing visual content that will be prominently displayed to our members via social media, email campaigns, and our website. The work demands exceptional craftsmanship, from captivating motion graphics to compelling headlines and banners that capture attention and define the luxury shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative graphics for social media, e-commerce including banners, category, and campaign promotions, and email campaigns, ensuring consistency across all formats and dimensions.
• Incorporate animation using After Effects to enhance social content, banners, and campaign materials beyond static imagery.
• Adapt and maintain the visual identity of various brand partners while integrating the MILE brand atmosphere.
• Contribute original creative ideas during campaign briefings and product launches.
• Design email visuals that effectively balance brand personality and commercial goals.
• Utilize and expand upon Figma template systems, discerning when to follow established frameworks or create custom designs.
• Provide creative support for brand and marketing rollout across multiple brands.
• Incorporate feedback swiftly from cross-functional teams to refine and improve designs while preserving core quality.
• Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure consistent quality across all channels.

Qualifications

• Between 1 to 3 years of graphic design experience or a portfolio that evidences both strong creative ideas and actual production work from study, freelancing, or internships.
• Demonstrated originality and high craftsmanship evident in your portfolio.
• Proficiency in After Effects with experience creating animations such as social media motion content, kinetic typography, banners, or short videos.
• Advanced skills in Photoshop for creating and refining assets.
• Comfortable designing within Figma.
• Well-versed in the specifications and formats required for social media channels including Instagram (posts, stories, reels) and TikTok, with adaptability to different aspect ratios.
• Strong fundamentals in typography, layout, and composition, with an eye for design that stands out in crowded feeds.
• Ability to manage multiple projects promptly without sacrificing quality or creative ambition.
• Clear and precise communicator able to understand briefs thoroughly, ask insightful questions, and confidently present creative concepts.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Experience in email design is advantageous.
• Background in photography, art direction, or studio production.
• Skills in illustration, 3D modeling (such as Blender or Cinema 4D), or other specialized creative disciplines.
• A keen interest in fashion, luxury, streetwear, or online retail.

Additional Information

This role is based at the Doncaster office, requiring presence onsite three days per week ordinarily, and potentially up to five days during busy periods or product launches as requested by management.

The position offers a salary of £30,000 per annum.
