Job Summary

The Janitor's primary role is to maintain cleanliness and order within the building by performing heavy cleaning tasks such as floor maintenance, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal. The position requires adhering to specific cleaning procedures and ensures a safe environment for all occupants.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove trash and dispose of waste in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Perform dusting and damp mopping of floors following set procedures.
• Relocate furniture and equipment to facilitate thorough cleaning and restore placements afterward.
• Sanitize all assigned surfaces utilizing designated materials and equipment, following an eight-step cleaning methodology.
• Clean walls, windows, baseboards, and furniture to uphold a hygienic environment.
• Identify and address areas requiring cleaning proactively.
• Complete tasks and directives assigned by the supervisor.
• Operate in compliance with federal, state, and county regulations.
• Strip, scrub, buff, refinish floors, and shampoo carpets as needed.
• Demonstrate professionalism and cooperate effectively with clients, colleagues, and others.
• Carry out additional duties as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of relevant janitorial experience.

Work Schedule and Location

This full-time position is based at RTX - 936-960 Overland Court, San Dimas, CA 91773. The typical work schedule runs Sunday through Thursday with shifts from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am or 5:00 pm to 1:30 am. Additional details are provided during the interview process.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage for this role is $20.00.
