Role Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes during all meal services, including special functions and events
• Manage a specific section independently during service times
• Ensure all mise en place is fully prepared and ready before service
• Maintain high standards for food quality, plating, and portion sizes
• Keep track of inventory, ensuring proper storage and rotation of ingredients
• Collaborate closely with senior chefs to deliver seamless, top-quality service

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery completed or in progress
• Previous experience working in hotel or commercial kitchen settings
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices
• Capability to work autonomously within a kitchen section during service
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Positive mindset with eagerness to enhance cooking skills continuously
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
