Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive Frontend Application Developer skilled in building and maintaining superior web and mobile applications that enhance client-facing tools, internal platforms, dashboards, and field workflows. This mid-level role is hands-on, focused on frontend development, responsive and mobile-friendly UI/UX, accessibility, usability, and app performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain modern web and mobile-friendly applications aligned with senior leadership guidance.
• Translate product demands, user journeys, wireframes, and workflows into intuitive user interfaces.
• Work with modern frameworks like React, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript to create responsive web apps.
• Support mobile interface development using React Native, Kotlin, Progressive Web Apps, or comparable technologies.
• Create reusable UI components and frontend design patterns consistent with standards.
• Collaborate with backend teams for API integration, data handling, authentication, and workflow implementation.
• Build dashboards, campaign management interfaces, operational portals, reporting tools, and workflow automation solutions.
• Enhance overall user satisfaction through improved usability, navigation, and workflow efficiency.
• Ensure applications meet criteria for accessibility, security, browser compatibility, responsiveness, and performance.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to speed up prototyping, development, testing, and documentation.
• Participate in code reviews, QA, release planning, documentation, and production support.
• Resolve frontend issues and assist with production incident troubleshooting.
• Propose enhancements to user experience, frontend quality, component reuse, and coding standards.
• Manage priorities and deliver high-quality solutions responsibly.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, HCI, Design, IT, or related field; equivalent experience is also acceptable.
• 3 to 5 years of experience developing production web applications.
• Proficient with React, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar frontend frameworks.
• Experience in responsive and mobile-friendly application development.
• Familiar with React Native, Kotlin, Progressive Web Apps, or related mobile technologies.
• Knowledge of REST APIs consumption; GraphQL experience is advantageous.
• Experience with authentication and authorization workflows.
• Skilled at building reusable UI components and adhering to design/component guidelines.
• Collaborates effectively with backend and product teams.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools for coding, prototyping, documenting, and testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Background in building dashboards, operational portals, workflow apps, or SaaS platforms.
• Experience in retail tech, connected devices, digital signage, IoT, or retail media networks.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and frontend performance optimization.
• Comfort working in small, agile technology teams.

Work Environment and Conditions

This role is performed in a regular office or remote setting. Daily activities include sitting, standing, walking, communicating, and extensive computer use. Occasionally, lifting or moving up to 20 pounds may be required. Visual acuity with or without corrective lenses is necessary, along with the ability to work extended hours at a computer. Some travel might be expected.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 annually.
